What name should I give to my EDDM campaign?
The name of a marketing campaign is essential in providing a quick reference to its purpose and target audience. Here are some tips to help you create an effective campaign name:
- Use a clear and concise name: Keep the name simple, easy to remember, and relevant to the campaign. Use a maximum of three to five words.
- Include the targeted location: If your campaign targets a specific city or region, include the location in the name. This will help you differentiate it from other campaigns in other cities.
- Add a date: Including a date in the name is also a good idea. It will help you track and manage campaigns, especially if you have several campaigns running concurrently.
Here are some examples of effective campaign names:
- Food Co Q2-22: This name includes the name of the company and the date (Q2-22).
- Company US 24: This name includes the target audience (US), and the year (24).
- Tech Valentines 24 NY: This name includes the occasion (Valentine's), the year (24), and the target location (NY)
What are the rules for a campaign launch date?
The campaign launch date is the date when your postcards will be delivered by USPS. There is a minimum date interval we require, which you can check by clicking on the info button in the launch date field. This interval is required for Oppizi to conduct the printing and logistics processes to successfully deliver the mail pieces on your selected date. You can choose any weekday for your mail pieces to be delivered, except Sundays.
How does the QR Code URL work?
We strongly recommend you add a URL to your campaign, so we can add a trackable QR Code on your artwork. This will allow you to measure your campaign success through the dashboard once your campaign is delivered.
When uploading a design, you don't need to provide the actual QR Code, instead, only a placeholder in your artwork. We'll place a trackable QR Code on your design that links to the URL you provide. For example, you may choose to add your website URL, so that your recipients can scan the mail piece and be directed to your website.
Simply add the desired URL on the Details page, and Oppizi will handle the rest, allowing you to track your campaign once your mailers are delivered.
What is a trackable coupon?
In addition to the QR code URL, we can also add a custom coupon code to your artwork. Simply provide us with the specific coupon code you would like to include, such as PROMO10, FIRSTORDER, 20OFF. We will include this code on your flyers and your customers will be able to scan the QR Code and receive a discount for your services.
